G'day, there's plenty to see here. So, please take your time to look around and see what we have to offer. We aim to provide a service that suits the Hobbyist, the Lapidary and the Collector with prices in everyone's budget, and we won't sell you rubbish. This means you to can have a slice of some of nature's most wonderful creations, without breaking your bank balance!
We are miners of Gemstone in Western Australia, specializing in Marra Mamba Tiger Eye mined from our own lease (claim) on the Nammuldi Ridge near Mt Brockman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. A rare piece of land, one of only a few leases left producing Marra Mamba Tiger Eye. We also prospect for other Gemstones and especially the Septarian nodules found in special geological settings in the Pilbara . Unearthing these rare and spectacular specimens is exciting . They were created by one of most ancient and primitive lifeforms, a microbe called Archaea. These have been dated as being between 2.9 billion to 3 billion years old perhaps even older. The scientific research indicates these are some of the oldest specimens of this type on our planet.
2024 is over and it was a good one, with mining completed and processing is ongoing, now it is 2025 how time fly's by. We will be at as many Gem Shows as possible in 2025 to renew old acquaintances and meet new collectors and Lapidaries. We had a great day at the North Brisbane Lapidary Club show after a very bad start, thanks to the club for helping me out very friendly and very well run show thank you. Unfortunately we were unable to get to Minarama show in Glen Innes because of cyclone Alfred cut the roads between south east Queensland and NSW. We will be at the Warwick Gem show on the 18,19, 20 April (Easter) . After that we will be at the Redcliffe show on 10th of May. The big one will be the Lismore Gem fest one of the biggest Gem shows in Australia on 17, 18th, 19th of May then onto the Mt Gravatt Show Saturday 24 May. Very excited to be going to these show days, meeting people talking mining, lapidary, tips and tricks, as well as swapping stories and information come along!
We will be at other shows later in 2025 and will keep you informed as to where we will be when the dates are all finalised. We will be bringing polished slabs, rough and some new spheres as well as the Septarian nodules that are so popular. Come along and support grass roots Gemstone collecting and Lapidary. We have some of the most rare, fascinating and exciting Gemstones in Australia and this is the way we can grow our Gemstone industry.
These are fun events, we hope to see you there.
Mining in 2024 was completed, and some spectacular spheres were produced from last year's material. The spheres have the much sought after Reds and Blues with wavy upwellings of Hematite and Magnetite, set in beautiful colourful Jaspers, exhibiting stunning Chatoyance. We were very happy with last years results and they sold out very quickly. More are being processed from the current seasons mining, If you would like one or would like many!!! Please register your interest. If you do not get an immediate response please don't be concerned as we may be in the workshop, away prospecting or mining, but we will definitely get back to you thanks
